Because of more than 3000 hours sunshine time all year, Lhasa has praised as “sunshine city”. As the first batch of national historical and cultural city, Lhasa is known for its beautiful scenery, long history, special folk custom and strong religious colour. In 7th century, Songtsen Gampo moved the political center from Yarlung River Valley to Lhasa after ruling whole Tibet.
